Tournament rules will be as follows:

1)   Age Limit: All players must be 9/10;11/12. Birth certificates shall be made available upon request.

2)   Roster: Maximum fifteen (15) man roster.
Roster to include the following:

Players Name, DOB, Age, Coaches Names, Phone Numbers

ALL ROSTERS MUST BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO FIRST GAME PLAY

3)   We expect all players to play in the field every game. All teams will be allowed free substitution, since we will be using the Continuous Batting Order. However, once the pitcher comes out, he cannot go back in to pitch. However, he can play any other position on the field. If a player arrives after the start of the game, they will be added to the end of the Continuous Batting Line-Up. If a player is injured and cannot continue to play the players position in the continuous batting order is crossed out. Players cannot re-enter if batting position is passed. Match rule will be in effect when less than fifteen (15) players are available, except in the following situations:

Minimum of 8 players is required to begin and/or complete game. If a injury occurs which drops the number of available players below 9 but at least 8 during the game, any player on the bench but not in the game at the time of the injury must be re-entered in place of the injured player. (Note in both of the above cases an out shall be recorded in the spot in the batting order which was/would have been occupied by the 9th player EVERY time that spot comes up until a 9th player is available).

Pitching Rules: Maximum 6 inning limit/game. Maximum 6 inning limit per day. One pitch constitutes 1 inning. Four (4) innings or more (3) days rest. Pitch on the 4th day. Three (3) innings or less NO rest. Nine (9) in round robin play/9 in bracket play.

4)   Substitutions: Starting player ONLY may re-enter. Player MUST re-enter in the original position in the batting order. EXCEPTION: If replacing injured player.

5)   Sliding: In the event of a close play, a player MUST either slide or give themselves up (may not hurdle). In the event of such a play the player will be called out with a possible ejection if the offense is determined to be a flagrant offense. NO HEAD FIRST SLIDES

6)   Mercy Rule: 10 or more runs after the losing team has batted 4 times or 8 or more runs after the losing team has batted 5 times.

7)   Balks: Pitcher and catcher balk rules area waived

8)   NO “slash bunting” will be permitted. This is when a player squares as if to bunt, then pulls back and swings. THIS WILL BE CONSIDERED A DANGEROUS PLAY and will result in that pitch being called a strike regardless of the actual outcome of the pitch. The ball will be ruled dead and runners may not advance.

9)   Protests: Tournament Rules Committee shall rule on all protests immediately. ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL

10) Insurance: Each team is required to carry their own insurance
